Michelle Loi

Certified Practising Speech Pathologist

Michelle graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) from the University of Sydney in 2011. She is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist through Speech Pathology Australia. Since graduating, Michelle has worked as a Speech Pathologist in public, private and non-government settings including primary and secondary schools, Schools for Specific Purposes (SSPs), community health centres, early intervention services, and for the NHS. Michelle has had experience working as a Clinical Educator for Speech Pathology students at the University of Sydney.

Michelle has extensive experience assessing and providing therapy with paediatric clients with speech, language, fluency, play, and social skills difficulties. Services have been provided in different settings, including in the clinic, homes, schools and preschools, and with a range of service delivery models, including 1:1 therapy, group therapy, and parent training. 

​

Michelle is dedicated to providing family-centred services and supporting clients and families in achieving their goals and improving their lifelong outcomes. 

​

​Michelle speaks English and conversational Cantonese.

​

Michelle is dedicated to evidence-based practice and continually extending her skills. She is trained in:

Michelle is passionate about empowering children to communicate effectively and participate extensively in all areas of life. This is achieved through providing individualised support through evidence-based interventions and strategies to address each child's specific needs, and through thorough planning and collaboration with all individuals involved in the child's care. This ensures functional outcomes are attained in therapy.
